Se-Lyung Moon
Her artistic work often deals with the desire and fear of the human condition, which leads to a reflection of our society. Exploring the human existence and raising social questions in her work gives it a universal feel. As a visual artist, she is inspired by aesthetic aspects, the beauty of Bi-Jang-Mi (비장미, 悲壯美 in korean) “the beauty where the sublime resides in sadness, the aesthetics which springs from great sadness”.
