Jeannine Unsen
Born in Luxembourg in 1975, Jeannine Unsen graduated in photography in Brussels in 1999. Her work features characters who freeze in carefully imagined settings, raising questions about authenticity, identity and representation. The often timeless contexts in which the characters reveal themselves are derived from the photographer's inner journeys. Or they provoke in the viewer a journey between the world of dreams and reality. The artist's work, developed with great sensitivity, focuses on portraits staged with an excessive love of detail.
Since the early 2000s, his work has been shown in Luxembourg and abroad.
