Christian Aschman, born in Luxembourg in 1966, studied at the Ecole de Recherche Graphique (ERG) in Brussels and divides his time between Luxembourg and Brussels. A freelance photographer since 1992, he has produced numerous fashion reports, portraits and photographic commissions on the theme of the city, construction and architecture.

In 2011, he held an exhibition in KIOSK, Place de Bruxelles, of a large photograph representing the kiosk itself. In 2014 he took up an artist residency in Tokyo, and in 2015 published the artist's book "The space in between" with Théophile's Papers. He is also the author of several photo books, including "747-8", published for Cargolux Airlines and Boeing.

He has also produced a series of photographs of the architecture of the Mudam - Musée d'art moderne Grand-Duc Jean, published in the book "Mudam, le bâtiment de Ieoh Ming Pei". He is also the author of two short films, one on the architecture of the museum and the other on the work of Daniel Buren: "Architecture, Contre-Architecture: Transposition", exhibited there. In recent years, Christian Aschman has had solo and group exhibitions in Brussels, Luxembourg, Liège, Paris, Tokyo and Warsaw.
